Sugar rocket
We’re told that
this rocket is sugar powered. It’s quite a bit bigger than the

Wooden PC construction
The finished look of this wooden PC case seems very familiar to us but we’re not sure we’ve seen
pictures of the build process(updated link, sorry [Jeff]) before. There’s something extremely satisfying about how well its creator works with a file. [Thanks Anders]

Mid-Century Madness - finished September 2010. A red oak mid-century modern-styled computer enclosure inspired by the TV show Mad Men.The enclosure is built around a Silverstone TJ08 mATX tower case that slides in and out from the back. The front face design is an ivory-colored geometric grill on a woven cane background. Air flow is handled by hidden upper and lower vents. The floating tabletop provides adequate space for an ash tray and cocktail glasses.

Level Eleven - finished May 2010. Inspired by the Thermaltake Level 10 case this one-third scale version is made of Cherry. The PC is powered by the VIA P820 Pico-ITX board featuring the VIA Nano 64-bit CPU, 2GB Crucial DDR2 memory, a Pioneer DVD burner and an Intel 160GB X25 SSD.

Mission - finished September 2009. Black walnut mission-style side table/computer system. Features include an aluminum rear slide-in standard ATX mid tower case and easily replaceable decorative panels that can be changed to suit style or decor. The bottom-mounted cooling air inlet is fitted with a commercial filter and the air exits out the exhaust deck located directly below the tabletop. Mission won the 2009 Coolermaster (Mid Tower) and 2009 Intel (Digital Lifestyle) case mod contests.

Ingraham - finished December 2008. This is my tribute to the 1946 Stromberg Carlson model 1110H whose cabinet was designed and built by the Ingraham Cabinet Co. Ingraham is an aluminum Silverstone LC06 case clad with American black walnut. Features a 1.6 GHz VIA Nano CPU, 4GB of memory and a Crucial 64GB SSD. Ingraham debuted at the CES 2009 Showstoppers event.

Pico Bayard - finished December 2007. This is my tribute to the French clockmaker Bayard's art deco styled mantle clock. The enclosed computer is powered by a VIA Pico-ITX mainboard. The integrated monitor is an 8" touchscreen LCD. The piece is finished in flame mahogany with chrome accents.

Decomatic - finished April 2007. The Decomatic was built to compete in the Intel Core Challenge design contest where it was a finalist. It was displayed at Silverstone's booth at 2007 CES. It is a highly modified Silverstone LC02 with a white oak body and mahogany/chrome accents. The Decomatic was featured in the March 22nd 2007 issue of PC Magazine.

Unidyne - finished April 2006. The Unidyne PC is my tribute to the Shure 55 microphone. It is made of aluminum-painted basswood with a cast iron mic stand. The Unidyne was a finalist in Extremetech's 2006 case mod contest. It was featured in the August issue of Maximum PC magazine as the Mod of the Month.

It was on CBS News "Up To The Minute" news show and had a one-page write up in the March 2003 issue of Popular Science magazine. The Nano Form Factor (NFF) PC - finished October 2003. The NFF is a 5 1/4" drive cage converted into a full-function music PC. It is clad with raised Spanish cedar panels and features a DVI port and built-in speakers with subwoofer. The Crystalfontz LCD reports song title, artist and album info. The motherboard is a fanless 3.5" industrial unit.
