Azle senior with Down syndrome wins homecoming queen | wfaa.com Dallas - Fort Worth

On Thursday, News 8 told you about Mariah Slick, an 18-year-old Azle
high school student with Down syndrome who was nominated to be the
school's homecoming queen. The winner was announced at halftime of
Azle's football game Friday night. Mariah's name was called. The Slick
family embraced on the field as the crowd gave Mariah a standing ovation.
