There was a time when a new Mozilla Firefox release was primarily about unique features not seen elsewhere, features that would literally change the way we use the web. Firefox 13, released by Mozilla today, is not one of those releases.

Firefox 13, does seam a little faster. But, not by much. I Have used Firefox as my Main Browser for 7 Years now and I love Firefox. But, it has become a bit slower in recent years. Still, I stick with Firefox, because I love the Interface and how things work. So, I'm very glad to see the Improvements. If you want to try out Firefox 13 on a Fedora Linux System, without actually installing it. You can just download it and then Extract the Firefox Folder to your home/user Directory or where ever you like. As long as you have regular user privileges in that Folder. Firefox will automatically install and updater your Addons from your original Firefox installation. But, it will not change or disturb the use of the original. I made Shortcuts on my Top Panel in Gnome 2 and on my Desktop in LXDE on another System. Pretty easy to do. Just Right Click and Add...
