I live in Los Angeles, CA. I am 26. I am in grad school getting a masters in urban planning and I ride a scooter.
Also, I have pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. I was diagnosed in October 2010, just after my 25th birthday. Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors are very rare and relatively slow growing compared to other types of cancer, such as regular pancreatic cancer, but at the time of my diagnosis it had spread from my pancreas to both lobes of my liver.Read More...

I’m finding it difficult to put into a word how I feel about today, the day that marks a year since I was diagnosed with cancer. (Yet she does and so elequently, here are the titles, go there and read the rest)
I’m bewildered
I’m proud
I’m exhausted
I’m thankful
I’m disappointed
I’m blessed
I’m frustrated
I’m sad.
I am a liver.
