Self-taped auditions are becoming more and more common. Though the technology is easy to come by, one still needs to know the technical skills. In part one of this series, we will show you how to properly set up the equipment as well as cover other technical details one needs to know to properly self-tape an audition. Look for part two in the series, post-production editing and uploading your audition, in April.

Sharon Garrison is a proud member of SAG, AFTRA and AEA for over 30 years, Sharon "pays it forward" these days by serving as secretary on the Dallas local SAG-AFTRA Board and chairing the SAG-AFTRA ProACT committee (Professional Actor Career Training) which offers panels and workshops on important film industry issues in the North Texas area.
