The "Affordable Health Care Act" and how it has turned out to Effect Americans and more Specifically Texans

I Wonder where this guy, ( got his Christal Ball? This is all based on Conjecture and heavily biased to his or that of his employer (The Wall Street Journal). Every Article that I have read on this Web Site, has been Biased towards Big Business (in my Opinion). Here's the link, the original Article, Obama Care's Troubles Are Only Beginning. Now, this is not really just about the above mentioned Article. It's about the "Affordable Health Care Act" and how it has turned out to Effect Americans and more Specifically Texans... When I look into my Christal Ball... I see the Biggest Boon, that Insurance Companies have ever had, in my lifetime! Millions of forced Customers are now Signing up for Expensive Health Insurance. And with the high Deductibles of $6000 and $5000 a year. Before the Insurance Companies have to pay out, even one red cent. These Insurance Companies are now setting on Easy Street. All thanks to the "Affordable Health Care Act"! I worry that Millions of the "Older Sick People", will die. Before they ever reach their Deductibles. They will have to go with out Medicine and Health Care. Because they just don't have the money to pay $372 (in Tarrant County TX where I live) a month for Health insurance. And then on top of that. Meet the $5000 to $6000 Deductible, so the their Health Coverage begins to Pay them Back for their Investment. Speaking of Investments. Imagine how much money we all could have Saved up. If we could afford to put $4464 a year in a Savings Account? But, as for the Affordable Health Care Act. I'm talking about the majority of People, in TX. Who don't Qualify for Medicaid. Which is the only way that I have seen for anyone, besides People with Dependent Children. To qualify for the the Promised Help, with paying for Health Insurance, under the Affordable Health Care Act. And these are the least Expensive Policies, I have seen on https://www.healthcare.gov/marketplace/b/welcome/. This is the Biggest Handout to Big Business. That I have seen the Government give out, in my life! The same Insurance Companies that have had the Power of Live and Death over millions of Americans, for way too many years now. The same Companies, who have Denied Coverage for, who knows how may unfortunate Sick People. Who have now already died from their Treatable Illnesses. These people, who see only the Bottom Line. Not, the Sick and Dying People who the have denied. The People who have Handed them their Hard Earned Money. Year after Year. Trusting or at least Hoping. That if and when they need the Health Coverage, that they Paid for in Advance. Would be there for them... These Companies and People who run them. Have now not only been Rewarded with more guaranteed business than ever before. But, they have now been given even more Power over the Lives and Deaths of Millions more Americans! And all this, in a Country. Where, at least some States have a "Good Samaritan Law". A Law, that punishes people who don't stop and render aid to a sick or injured person, that they come across. Are subject to Prosecution. These Big Business, who openly and constantly Pronounce Death Sentences on People, by Denying them Proper Health Care. Which amounts to nothing less than Murder! These People are Rewarded! As for those who Simply can't afford to make the monthly Premium Payments. And those, healthy or otherwise. Who would just rather pay the "Sick Tax" (the individual shared responsibility payment) at the end of the year. Rather than paying a minim of $4464, a year (in TX). For Coverage, that they most likely would never meet the Deductible for and gain any benefit from. Those who jut refuse to give hand outs to Big Business. For the possibility that, if or when some of them do get Sick or Injured. They will have a modicum of Health Coverage. Still, they will not Cost the Insurance Companies a Penney. The cost of their Emergency Health Care. Will be Paid by themselves. Or, the Costs will fall the Local Hospitals. And then perhaps, some of that cost to the Government. If the Government, hasn't canceled all of the Previous Funding, that they were giving to these Community Hospitals. I know that JPS in Fort Worth, Tarrant Co, TX. The local Community hospital, is becoming, in effect, a Private Hospital, as of 03-31-14. So, every Patient of JPS, who was using the "JPS Connection". An Assistance Program for Low income People in Tarrant County TX. Which has been around for more than 25 years now, that I know of. These JPS Patients, will now either have to buy Health Insurance or Pay for their Health Care, in Full. Except those who Qualify for Medicaid or a similar Government Program. These are People who are in the Poverty Level of Income. They are now Expected to Pay for their Health Care. By Purchasing Insurance or by Paying Cash up front. Or by some how Arranging to make Payments to their Health Care Provider. For may Americans, this is going to Cost more than they actually make in a Month. If they are well enough to even hold down a job, at all. Many Conically ill people, have to live and depend on Relatives or whom ever has the Heart and Finances to help them, now. And this is in the Age of "The Modern Miracles of Medicine"! This may be a Fluke of a Statement to you. I know it is to me. And that's another topic. But, we do have the ability and the Technology to help and heal many Americans, who are Conically ill. Enabling them to get back to Work and "Paying their own Way in Life". But, to save a Dime, here in America. We Spend a Dollar. And provide only Stop Gap Medical Care, to our Citizens. Keeping them Dependent on the Hand outs of Local and National Health Care Organizations. And in the end. Costing the Government, much more money. Than, if we had actually helped them Get Well, in the first place. Insurance Companies, would go out of business, if too many People got Well. Less People would would be Paying any Premiums. If we didn't Fear illness and or Accidents. There would be a very low Return Rate. In return for their Investments. So, there's no incentive to Provide People with truly Good Health Care. Health Care is Big Business. And there's very little Incentive to do the Job Well or Right. What would "Health Care Professionals" do for money? If they actually Made People Well, the Majority of the Time? It's like "Planned Obsolescence. But, with our Health and our Lives!  Not to mention the Personal and Quality of Life Costs to each individual, who has a Chronic illness or Terminal or really any type of illness... How, can they adjust for these sudden, high Monthly Health Care Costs? By, cutting out their Car Payment. Selling the car for less than they owe on it and buying an old clunker (with what money). A Vehicle, that breaks down. And perhaps in turn, looses them their Job. Because they can't make to work, on time. But, they probably already drive, that "Old Clunker". If they have Transportation of their own, at all. This is TX. There is no Public Transportation, unless you live in a Big City. With Bus Service, etc. They can't stop eating. Most already have to Budget their Groceries, in order to Pay the Bills. You can't live without Water, either. Maybe, they will have to let the Electricity, get Shut off. Or maybe they can do without Natural Gas. These days, it only gets down in the Teens, for a few days at a time, mostly. Then it warms up again. Maybe they will just have to take a chance on Freezing to Death. To Pay for Health Insurance. Who really needs a Telephone? You only need that, for Emergencies, for Employers to call you to make a Job offer, anyway. Little things like that... I'm not talking about those, who even have Cable or Satellite TV. Or various other Non Necessities, of Life. Internet Service may be a luxury for some. But, for most, it has become a very important way to; search for a job, sign up for Health Insurance. Do countless important and necessary things in life. Or even make money! Ya, I sure wish I was getting Paid, for writing this... Anyway... I thought the "Affordable Health Care Act", was supposed to help Millions of Americans gain Health Insurance and make things a little bit better for US all... But, I see no Help in Sight. I see only More Un-Payable Bills! And now, I have to wonder the status of the long standing laws. That, prohibited Hospitals. Private or otherwise. From turning Emergency Cases away. Will, this law change or has it already been changed. Tagged on and hidden in one of the many Bills Passed in recent years? Hidden in some Amendment? That's what I see in my Christal Ball. I guess, Time will Tell... But, what will we do in the Mean Time???
