Britney
I was driving up to the ski mountain and as the NYC radio stations started to fade to static, I pressed seek in search of something new. I came across a song called "Britney" by Norman Bebo. Call it Christian Rock if you want, but the story of Britney is as compelling as any story of the bible and the lyrics of the song are about as honest as songs get. We let grown men dress up a 15 year old in a Catholic school uniform to sell sex under the guise of innocence. We laughed when the innocence couldn't be sold anymore at the Crossroads. We thrived of tearing her apart as she could not longer make sense of the fishbowl world into which we confined her.
Britney I'm sorry for this cruel cruel world
We sell the beauty but destroy the girl
Go there...
