K-os announces pay-what-you-want concerts

When Radiohead released In Rainbows as a pay-what-you-want download a few years back, people fell all over themselves and others saying things like "this is going to change everything."
And they said "everything" like "evvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvverything." And it echoed.
Well, it's a few years later now, and we've seen the pay-what-you-want model employed by bands and artists both big and little. We've seen things like, say, the Hollerado "here, take my album" idea (which, of course, did not start with Hollerado but we like Hollerado, so...) which helped people get exposed to Record In A Bag.
We've seen the by-donation show, which isn't anything new.
But when an artist as big as k-os says that the shows on his upcoming Canadian tour are of the pay-what-you want variety (dramatically different from the pay-what-you-can or by-donation model), ladies and gentlemen, it's a big deal.
