I made some Videos. On, Fedora 25 and Debian 8
Linux Installations. Also, on Setting Up Vino, Tight and Tiger VNC Remote Desktop
Servers using Krfb GUI. The two links, for videos Part 6 and 8. Will give you the basic run down on Fedora 25 installation. And the rest in the Playlist. Have more info and a bunch of stuff on VNC Remote Desktop Apps. And me trying to get one to work in Fedora 25, 64 bit, Live and Installed Linux OS, for my Videos. Team Viewer works fine, on Fedora 25, 32 bit Live. But, not on 64 bit. So, I tried to get VNC up and running in Fedora 25, 64 bit Live. Part 1 has more info on writing Fedora 25 ISO's to a USB Stick. It was my first time, in several months. So, I was having trouble, remembering things. But, I did get it right, in the end. I will probably make more videos, on Fedora 25 and Debian too, as I get around to it. Debian, has a bit different Installation Procedure. You can use an App, called UNetbootin (http://unetbootin.github.io/) in Linux and Windows. Go to the Site, Read the How To's and Download the App, if you want to use Debian or other Distros, besides Fedora. Then use UNetbootin to Download and Write the ISO to a USB Stick and install your Linux OS. Debian uses less of your computers resources. But, it has a different back end and some of the available Apps are different, from Fedora. I like Fedora best. But, if Fedora runs slow, on a System. Then I will use Debian. I tried out VNC Remote Desktop, in Debian 8.7. By installing Vino VNC Server and Krfb GUI VNC Settings App. VNC worked great, right after installation. No Problems, at all. Also, Fedora seems, fine on the Dell 1525 Core 2 Laptop. It has a 2GHz Processor and 3 Gig of Ram. Anything less, would be a bit slower, running Fedora. XFCE Desktop, is lighter on resource usage. But, it has less features, than Mate. I like Mate, best. But, for someone, who only uses the basic Web, E-mail and Word Processing Apps, on their Computer. I don't think, the Desktop wold be much of an issue. The only, thing. They would notice. Is the layout and whether or not they like using it. Mate and XFCE Layouts. Can be changed, to several different configurations. Such, as having one Bar, at the Top or Bottom. Or with 2 Bars. One at the Top and One at the Bottom. Which is what I like...
