I'm watching this Video, on a Lenovo i5 Quad Core, with 4Gig of Ram and 256MB (or Mib) of On-Chip Shared Video Memory. It's an MT-M-5067-A1U. I've been using it as my main PC, for two years now. I'm running Fedora 23 Linux. And it can Duel Boot. With Windows 7 Pro, on it too. But, I rarely used Win 7. It's a decent PC. It can Render Videos, much faster than my Duel Core and P4 Machines. But, I have allot of trouble, with the small video memory. When I do simple things. Like, watching YouTube Videos. The machine starts using too much Ram, rather quickly. I use KDE System Monitor, to watch my System Resource Usage. Which seems odd. Because, Linux actually does a better job of managing memory, than Windows. I've run Fedora Linux as my main OS, since 2005. And never had a problem like this, on any other machine. From P3's to Duel Cores. Both Intel and AMD. When it get's over 1Gig of Ram usage. I have to Reboot the Machine. Or else it will lock up. And some times, it Reboots it's self. Very Aggravating... It is rather random. As to how long it takes this to happen. Anywhere, from 30 minutes, to 2 hours or so. It only has one standard PCI Slot (Not PCI Express). So, the only Video Card. I could put in it. Would be an old PCI Video Card. And the biggest I found was 512MB. But, then the Brick Style Power Supply couldn't supply the needed Wattage, for the GPU. I thought about using a PSU out of a Desktop, to Power it. And setting the PSU outside of the Box. But, those PCI Video Cards, Used. Now cost more than and brand new, 2GB Video Card!:O And after seeing your videos. I don't want to spend money on a CPU Upgrade, either. What a Shame... So, I wont be spending any money on this thing. I've been watching your videos. On adding a Video Card, to your Servers. That sounds like something I would like to do. Especially, If I can find an 8 Core Server, for a good Price... Morten, Thanks for sharing your Knowledge and Experience...
