This is an interesting Video. Showing how they Strung Half Million Volt DC Transmission Wire, in New Zealand, in 1965. They had some real Acrobats, building those Towers and running the Wiring. I had a job, installing DC Double Ought Battery Warring, among other types. In Telephone Company, Central Offices, back in 2000. And I can tell you. That big wire, is heavy! We were just running it, in Racks, about 16 to 20 feet above the ground. In Air Conditioned Buildings. I can't imagine. Doing that on those Towers, outdoors. In the Wind and Weather!
