We bought a new Sanyo TV this Christmas. It has a great Picture and decent built in Speakers. But, it has surprised us a few times. By Shutting off, all by it's self. I was getting worried, that there was something wrong with the Hardware in the TV. So, I finally did some research on it and I think that the TV is ok. It has a Power Saving Mode, that Automatically turns the TV off after 4 hours of not activity, form the Remote or when there is not Signal from the Antenna (which happens here allot).

and NO OPERATION continue for more than 15 minutes.
“No signal for 15 minutes was activated” will be displayed for about
10 seconds when the TV is turned on for the first time after the
power was turned off by “No signal for 15 minutes”.
The on-screen display will flash 3, 2 and 1 to indicate the last three
(3) remaining minutes prior to the shut-off.
