The Screen Shot shows. How I got on a little carried away, when shopping for sound systems for my Mom's TV's. One is a 15 inch LCD, with only an Analog Output. And the other, is a 46 inch Sanyo LCD TV. With Optical Digital Audio Output, only. I'm an old Sound guy, from the days of Analog Systems, with Big Speaker Drivers and High Powered Amps. I'm talking 15 and 18 Inch Subs and 15 inch Mid Range, with 3 inch or so Horns. Not so much, Home Audio Stuff. But, Live Concert Sound. I mixed Sound for Concerts, for over 12 years. And I learned a thing or two about Audio Mixing and Speaker Building Concepts, along the way. And most of these New TV's. Have Crap for Sound. The little 15 inch, is so bad and tinny. That it hurts my hears, to go in the room, when the sound is turned up. The Sayno 46 inch TV Speakers (8 x 3 or so inchers). Are ok. Just for watching the news or something with, just talking in it. But, watching anything with Music or Movies, are seriously lacking in sound quality. So, I wanted to get better Sound Systems for both TV's if I could. But, the Prices Verses the Specs of the Sound Systems out there. Really left me wanting. And not willing to Pay so much for so Little. Quite literally... Why in the World, would I pay those Prices for some dinky little 1 to 4 inch Drivers in a Plastic Box!??? During my Online Searches, on one of my Favorite Audio Video Sites. I kept coming across Deals on Speaker Drivers. Just the Drivers, without Cabinet or Drivers. I have built a few Speaker Boxes over the years. For my Cars and Trucks. But, nothing that was "Tuned" or Ported. Just some basic Boxes for 6x9 Triaxel Car Audio Speakers. I was a Cabinet maker, when I was young. And one of the Projects, that I always dreamed of, but never got around to. Was building some Real Tuned Speakers for Home or even for Pro Audio Use. There's a whole Science to Speaker Building and there is plenty of good Speaker Building Software and Advice to be had now. But, Wood is expensive now too. And I wouldn't be caught dead building my Speakers or Cabinets out of Particle Board or "MDF"!... Now, I know, that I don't have time to build. Much less. Order Online and then Build even a couple of Speaker Boxes. By Christmas!:O But, that didn't stop me from Looking;) I kept thinking... Even the cheapest "Buy Out" Speaker Drivers I could find. Many of them are "Name Brand" Drivers, that are Discontinued Models. So, these would most likely be of better quality and produce a better sound. Than, what I was looking at. Which Costs $50 and way-way up, from there. For one small "Sound Bar", on Sale! So, I ended up wasting much of my Shopping Time. Looking up and Dreaming of a Project. What did I end up getting? You, ask...

This, is what I got, for Mom's TV, in her room. Not the new one, in the Living Room. The new TV, only has a Digital Audio Output. This little System, has a decent Frequency Response, for $19.88... Satellite specifications: - Frequency response: 200-18,000 Hz and the Sub does... Base unit/woofer specifications: - Frequency response: 50-200 Hz. Not bad for the price. I think it will do fine, for her. I love Parts Express. But, their Shipping is kind of high. I paid $11.62 for Shipping on this order. But, even at that. It was still cheaper than it is in Amazon and other Sites, $39.00 with free shipping. I looked for two days and this was the best deal I found. I've been seeing this one, for the last couple for months and it went down in price, at Parts Express. Once we got it and set it up. It turned out to be just what I hoped for. I got Mom, in there to listen and set the Volume and EQ. So, that she could hear the words being spoken. And still gave the sound, a nice over all Tone. And the Bass is not so powerful, as to bother people in the next room. Too bad, it's no longer available. Turned out to be, great for a Bedroom TV Setup...
