I have a TI Fram MSP-EXP430FR5739 Experimenter's Board. And I am a Beginner at Proto Boards. Meaning that... this is the first one I have ever owned. I found this Site today, inventortown.com and it looks pretty great to me!:) I have never written any type of code. So, besides a few lines of HTML or Editing some Config files in my Linux OS's (Fedora and Debian). I have no idea how to go about it. I've been reading on the TI Site and there is allot of Complicated info there. But, this site has a way for people to Share and Edit the MSP430 firmware, directly on the Site. Later, I will try out some new firmware on my MSP-EXP430FR5739. I noticed that my exact model, was not listed in the Projects that are on the Site. So, I want to make sure that the code will work, before I try any of firmware there. Cause, I don't want to Frak my Fram!;)

Welcome

This is an online MSP430 firmware editor. This means that you edit C-code within your web browser without having to install an IDE such as IAR or CCS on your computer. The files are compiled on our server and you download them from there. Using this tool to develop MSP430 firmware from within your browser is very simple, but does not offer as many advanced features as an expensive IDE.

I’ve chosen to use 43oh.com as the base for the discussion forum for Inventortown. If you want to ask for help, suggest features or come with general feedback, that is probably the best place to do it. 43oh is a good site for looking at different MSP430 Launchpad projects. You can of course post comments here or email me if you prefer.

The editor is based on the Editarea component and MSPGCC4.

This service currently supports open source projects only, but we may also support closed projects in the future if this is of interest.

This service is currently in BETA testing, and although we do not intend to, we may have to delete files or profiles. Please keep a backup of important source files on your local computer. We welcome suggestions about requested improvements and other comments.

There is currently no source revision features, so you cannot step back to previous versions of your files. This is one of several features for future consideration.
