Here's a great Video on the Behringer V-Amp 2, Guitar Effects Processor by Kennis Russell. I have one my self. I got it when it first came out, in about 2002. I think it's a great all around Efx Processor. I'm and old Live Sound Guy. I mixed for Bands, throughout the 90's. I always wanted to be a Guitar Player. But, I never got any good, at it. My left hand, just can't hit those Chords well. But, I can sing and write songs. You can Download my music for Free, on my Web Site, http://donsongs.com/. I knew, from using several different Efx Processors, over the years. And talking to allot of Guitar Players. Who I mixed sound for. That the V-Amp, had some Effects, that could be used for Vocals too. And I like to do some recording, as well. So, I figured. I could use mine, for Guitar and Vocal Effects too. I was hoping to put the Guitar on one channel and the Vocals on the other. But, the Aux input, has a very low volume and the Efx don't wok on the Aux input. But, if you are happy with using either a Guitar or a Vocal Input. One at at time, with Effects. Then, there are allot of Possibilities and so many different ways to Configure the V-Amp 2. I tried mine out, years ago. And then put it under the Bed, for several years. I often thought of getting it out. And Reading that Manual again. To figure out. How to set it up for Vocals. I finally did, a couple of weeks ago (Jan 2017). And man, I wish I had done this, a long time ago! The V-Amp 2, makes a great Vocal Effects Preamp and Processor. It has just what you need for Narration and Singing too. I set mine to Tube Preamp, Compression, Noise Gate, with Reverb. I Reprogrammed 1-A and 1-B to my liking. One for Narration and one for Singing. It's not a Lexicon (my favorite Efx Processor) mind you. But, it's 10 times better. Than, using my old Cassette Deck as a Preamp!;) Ya, you can use a Tape Deck, to amplify you Shure SM-58. Just enough, to get a good signal into a Computer. But, you have to constantly watch your speaking or singing volume. And constantly keep an eye on your input gain, on the Computer. Or you wilt get Distortion, that can't be completely fixed in Post Editing. And getting it right, the first time. Is much better, anyway!:) Since, I've been using my V-Amp 2 for my Vocal Effects. I've only had to watch the input gain, on the Computer. For auto changes, done by changing the selections, on the inputs, to use different sources. I've been making a bunch of Desktop Screencast Videos. And I like the Improved Audio, allot. I don't have any of them Converted, from .ogv to .mp4 yet. So, that I can upload them to YouTube. But, I will be doing that, as soon as I can get around to it. For now, here's some Phone Videos and Pics, I made and put in My Google Photos...
