I had a Dear "Internet Friend", who Died this year. And one of the things I think about when I think of her. Is... what about her Online Profiles. On the Web Site, where we met and e-mailed each other. Things are just as she left them, last time she was online. I won't mention the Site or her name. Just because I don't want too. But, I suppose that this will become more and more of an Issue. Over the next few years. On the one hand. It's nice to immortalize our selves Online. Kind of like. When a Parent leaves you old Bed Room untouched when you leave or die. But, what about those Social Site Profiles. Where new people see our profile and want to make friends with us? Or in my case... I knew my friend was very ill and dying. But, I didn't know for sure, that she had Passed on. Until another Online friend of hers. Contacted me, actually about something else. And she had a Post about the Passing of my other friend on her Profile. Turned out that we both knew her and didn't know it... Google, has decided to do something about this issue. They have created the "Google Inactive Account Manager". I suppose, that's just what happens, when we Die. All of our lives, projects and Online Accounts become "Inactive". So, if your interested.
