Tracker-store using 100% of Processors in Fedora 14 Gnome Desktop

I have had this problem on and off with Tracker. The Desktop Search App that comes with Fedora and the Gnome Desktop since around Fedora 11. But it didn't happen all of the time, so I never stopped to figure it out. At one point on Fedora 12 or 13, I just uninstalled Tracker and used another Desktop Search App. I tried out 3 or 4 of them. I can't remember the name of the one I settled on. I do remember that I use to use the KDE Based Desktop Search App. The one with the Dog icon, until it began doing the same thing that Tracker is now doing. Using up all of my CPU Power. That was before Fedora 13 though. I even used the Google Desktop Search for Linux for a while, until it did the same thing... I'm running Fedora 14 now and Tracker worked fine all year, since Fedora 14 came out. And it worked just fine on this System which I just did a new installation on a few weeks ago. At Boot Up and after the first 5 or 10 minutes of running the System. Tracker would stop Indexing and Stop using any CPU Power at all. But then, Tracker started using All of my 1.8Ghz Core 2 CPU's up to 100% (alternatively) for about 5 or 10 minutes after Boot Up. I didn't like this behavior, but I could live with it. Until Recently, when it Began doing this for Hours on end!:O The whole time I ran the Computer, for 8 to 10 hours a day. I know that 1.8GHZ is a pretty Wimpy CPU. But, I never have this Problem on my old P4 with only 1Gig of Memory and 64MB of Video Memory. It's running Fusion 14, the Fedora 14 Remix. And in my 1.8Ghz System, I have 2.5Gig of Memory and a 512MB ATI Radeon Video Card. So, the System is not Running out of Memory of any kind. I also monitor my System Resources with System Monitor. It's a KDE based App. I have KDE installed on this System too. But I prefer Gnome as my Daily use Desktop. I like allot of the KDE Apps. So I always install KDE Desktop, as a
backup Desktop. As well as to get the needed Dependency's to run KDE Apps on Gnome. Anyway... After a couple of hours of reading and finding that this is a common problem with Tracker in both Fedora and Ubuntu and MeGo Linux too. I found this info on Tracker Command Line - Commands. I tried a few to see the Status of Tracker and then Decided to Reset the Data Base, like this...

Resetting All Databases

If you think your database is corrupt you might want to reset all the databases. This is especially important if you change schemas which are installed upon first time run of tracker-store.
$ tracker-control -r    ...

I'm going to Reboot and see it this helps...

Well:) Looks like Resetting the Tracker Database did the trick! It only took 5 or so minutes to Re-Index my Home Directory and then Tracker Quit. Just like is it supposed to do! I don't have allot of files in this new install of Fedora 14 though. So, it will take longer for Drives with more Data. I have a 1 Terabyte Drive with about 800GB of Data on it. I don't have it enabled to be Indexed by Tracker now. But I will set Tracker to Index it and see how that turns out. I'm thinking back to when my problem began. And I believe it was when I switched my Hard Drives around. Adding another 320GB HD after Tracker had already Indexed my Fedora 14 System HD (320GB, but new with few files added) and my 1TB Backup HD. That's what clicked in my mind. I read something about Changes in your Data. Basically, that told me that Changing something. Like, Adding or Removing Drives after Tracker had already Indexed the System. Could mess up the Tracker Data Base. So, I decided to Reset All Tracker Databases. I noticed when I ran "tracker-control -r" to Reset all Tracker
Databases. That all of the tracker cache files, among others were deleted. I had seen some advice on some other pages to do this. But this Command does it all for you.

Here's the link to the Page where I found the Commands that helped me fix Tracker.... http://live.gnome.org/Tracker/Documentation/Debugging

And this was the Forum Post that led me to the Tracker Debugging Page, with the Fix. It's a Ubuntu Forum, but it led me to what I needed for Fedora too. trackerd uses 100% CPU...
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tracker/+bug/239391

I have attached all of my Screen Shots and Text Files, showing the problem and my Process of discovering the answer to this Problem, to this Post. And I made two Screen Cast Videos too. One showing the Tracker Problem and one showing it running right after Resetting the Databases.

Here's the Tracker Processes running after the Fix...

This Screen Cast Video is of the Tracker using 100% of my CPU's Problem. It alternates using up to 100% on both Cores on my Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz CPU. (Silent, No Sound)

This Screen Cast if of Tracker and its Processes, after running "tracker-control -r" to Reset all Tracker Databases. I watched it finish Indexing my Fedora 14 System and then it Stopped, Just like it is supposed to do. (Silent No Sound)

This was the first thing that I tried. But it didn't help me... I tried
taking the Big 1TB drive out of the Indexing List. I tried Slowing
down the Tracker Indexing. I tried several other settings in the
Tracker Preferences, that I can't remember. But nothing made any Difference What So Ever...

Then I tried this... It was the first thing that I found in my Searches. But it didn't help either... Didn't work for me. No change at all. I'm just putting this in here, so that you wont go down this road too...  I tried giving Tracker more and less Disk Space to work with. I went from 0% to 50% and got no change in it's CPU usage. Not even after a Reboot. I thought at first, when I rebooted that it had done the trick. But after a few minutes. Tracker went back to it's old tricks, of using all my CPU Power...
