i’ll let you in on a secret- our prototype is currently using a 400mhz CPU.
for comparison, a Nintendo® Game Boy Advance™ uses a 16mhz CPU, a Nintendo® DS™ uses a 66mhz CPU (and a 33mhz one), and a Sony® Playstation Portable™ uses a 333mhz CPU.

that was in 2004. this is 2011!

the nD has a higher resolution screen (320 x 240) than the Nintendo® DS™ (256 x 192) and a CPU possibly more than four times faster.
of course, we can’t promise this will be the final specification until we’ve secured enough supply. it’s possible we’ll end up with something 200 or 300 mhz. (still much faster!)
the point is, the nD truly is a new generation of more powerful 16-bit games.
it can certainly handle some 3D as well! however, we would rather see some really awesome higher-resolution 2D titles!

whoa! don’t believe this is possible? think again!

dozens of cheap handhelds have existed for years- but none of them have had the power of an open Game Store, nor an indie-developer following like the nD, nor a hardware design by someone who truly appreciates games- and they have NEVER been sold at cost.
that means they’re making a profit on these devices, even at this price point! we’re not, so we can squeeze in the best possible hardware.

as we said: due to the rise of smartphones, the prices of mobile components have dropped exponentially in the past year or two.
as an example, here is a system-on-a-chip on Digikey, clocked at 454mhz, for six dollars retail.
of course, this is a mainstream, public, middle-man supply website. prices in bulk directly from the manufacturer are significantly lower!

we are currently in talks with venture capital firms for batch manufacturing the nD- stay tuned!

"bob's game" is a game about a game called "bob's game."

"bob's game" is a massive video game adventure RPG written in C.
It is the brainchild of Robert Pelloni, a reclusive, self-taught 27 year old game maker "prodigy."
All content- concept, writing, graphics, music, and programming were created by him over the past 6 years.

"bob's game" is a work of satire about gaming and the game industry, where the main
character "Yuu" plays games inside the game to find "the greatest game ever made" - the legendary "bob's game."
This virtual "bob's game" inside of "bob's game" is created by the in-game end boss character "bob," the author's alter-ego.

"bob" is a villainous, egomaniacal genius developer who believes he has uncovered a vast conspiracy in the game industry to hold back great games.
Believing himself on a quest to save the game industry, "bob" holds an interdimensional "bob's game" tournament-
in order to gather every brainwashed gamer worldwide together at once and break the evil spell of shovelware.
If "Yuu" wants the industry to survive- "Yuu" must beat "bob" at his own game... and "Yuu" might just reveal the real truth.

bobsgame.com was an "alternate reality game-" a viral advertisement starring "bob" which created a real-life parallel to the events inside "bob's game."
there is no villain. it's not real!!

Greyout is a Puzzle-Platformer game about contrast, separation and combination. Overcome deadly spikes, move objects and the boundaries of the world itself to reach the goal while listening to a relaxing soundtrack.

In the game everything revolves around colour - what's a wall for the black player is empty space for the white.
You can interact with your surroundings to move parts of the world and create new paths by doing so.

The game was released as a beta version, but more levels, extended gameplay and a stroyline are in the works.

Block Dude X is an enhanced remake/tribute to a side-scrolling puzzle game, Block Dude, which was originally released as part of "PuzzPack 2.0" for the TI-83 & TI-84 graphing calculators. It features both a faithful recreation of the original game's levels (and optionally, art style), as well as a modern coat of paint in the form of new graphics, music, and additional levels and mechanics in the form of an "Anniversary Mode".

The game is currently available as a free download for Windows (Game Maker), but a new release, version 2.0, is being worked on using C++/SDL, and will be available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and nD. v2.0 will include a suite of new cooperative puzzles, and a fully featured level editor and level repository, allowing one to make their own single player and cooperative level packs with both the Classic and Anniversary playstyles in mind. Co-op would make use of the nD's built in WiFi to allow for local and online play.

Made by Zach Hinchy and Joseph Pierce of The Layabouts (www.wearethelayabouts.com).

For the first time MunchiToy is coming without any demos (unlike the DS) for the nD and will be updated for the nD! Each update the game has we will throw in an extra Munchi (=[],) for fun with physics for the nD. A game where graphics are nothing more than low resolution, pixelated sprites, of various neon colours contrasting nicely with the black spacey background. Still interested? Wow, I didn't think anyone would read this far. Anyway, this game takes place a small corner of cyberspace where the endless Red Fleet cannot be stopped. Regardless the smaller fleets they pick on are fighting back, each killing countless of the Reds innumerable ships, before being utterly deleted and formatted. This game is inspired by various older games, and arcade machines, (Yes the actual machines, those lights attract me like a moth to a flame!)

Let's face it, I suck at describing it, so here are somethings my beta testers have said. "It is a great retro themed shooter."

Please Note: More HUD will be included ingame, and graphics may be prone to changing slightly.
I will change the ingame picture to one which cycles through screenshots as I take them!
I am very pessimistic as to this games release date.
