I'm downloading Fedora 15 and the Games Spin now...!:) I booted Fedora 15 in VirtualBox and like I read before... Without a 3D Video Card (a Real one). Fedora 15 sets itself to fallback (legacy) mode. This was fine for just getting a look though. I only have 512mb of ram in this VM instead of the Recommended "At least 768 MB memory (RAM), 1 GB recommended for best performance". I have 64mb of Video, but no real 3D Support. Fedora 15, is a bit different than the Previous 3 or 4 Fedora Systems. It has less pre-installed Apps. No, Word Processor at all. And things like System Settings are moved around a bit. There is now only one Drop Down list in the top menu and it too me a while to find the Display Settings and such. I never did find the Themes Settings. I was thinking that I would install the new Fedora 15 on my old Fedora 13 HD (I'm running Fedora 14 now as my main OS). But I will have to test it from a Live CD first and see if it works with my Ati Radeon Video Card first...

I'm trying out the BFO Network Install ISO now in VirtualBox (from boot.fedoraproject.org). Well... if it ever finished loading the i386 Fedora 14 Installation setup, that is!:O I already have the,  boot.kernel.org(BKO)-Booting-your-machine-over-HTTP gpxe.iso and it takes so long to download any of the sizable Distros, that I have never used it. I thought it might be a quick way to install different Linux Distros. I do have an 18mbps Internet Connection. But, even at that. These "Network" (Internet) Boot Distro Installers are still taking too long to use, for me. It's probably 10 minutes and still not done. It may have hung up!:O

I already tried it with the x86_64 version and it did finish in about 5 minutes though. Oh well...

The Fedora 15 Games Spin is still Downloading. It defaulted to Bittorrent and those are sometimes slower than regular downloads. But, just as I was about to go do something else... It's done!:) I need to go back to work on my new Debian 6 install on my other machine. I'm trying to get my nVidia Video Card up and running with the nVidia Driver... But, I'll go ahead and give Fedora 15 Games a try in VB too:) Well, It's Pretty Cool!:) There's allot of Games in there!:) I just opened up a couple, since I don't have 3D Support in my VM and only have 512mb of ram and 64mb of Video memory. Still, they opened up and ran just fine. I may just install this on my other HD. I can still install all of my needed Apps and run Fedora Gamers Spin as a regular Desktop System, if I want to...;)
