Wednesday, September 8, 2010 hockey_head from Shortsville, ny   I found out how to run it bridged, so I bought one. To bridge, Y into both inputs and use speaker out as follows: channel 1 (A) +, channel 2 (B) -. That's it 1600 watts at 4ohms. Running my subwoofers at live band shows works well. Only problem so far came when using undersized, long extension power cords provided to me at quirky outdoor shows. Limiter tends to "freak out" at higher volumes. When supplying the amp with proper voltage/current however, amp performs just fine. Thinking of replacing another 15 lb. amp with one of these (or two) 'cuz my back is thanking me. It's really cool to use one molded rack case for an entire sound system (eq's, crossover, effects, power center and amps) about 30 lbs. Since it was SO light in weight I had to open it up to see what was inside. Again very bare bones. The largest electronic was the fan. Still building a newer system so I will be able to use the amp on a full time basis soon.Price /Weight seems to be a good price point. Light as a feather. I used it at a new college baseball stadium along with a couple of Peavey Quadra 12 speakers. The place rocked. The 100hz high pass crossover was a selling point. That way, lovers of excessive bass will not blow the speakers apart.
