This site at Microsoft has 133 games that you can play online for free. There are many familiar titles on the list, and games are listed by type if you don't know what kind of game you want to play. Puzzle? Arcade? Action? Card? or Trivia, you have a wide choice. Many games give you the option of playing the game with or without being timed.

All games require Flash and/or Java and will only work in Internet Explorer. When a game loads, an ad plays for a short time, though it can be skipped by clicking the "Continue" button.

No Windows Live or Passport ID is needed to play.

All the online games are free to play as often as you like. Games that you download and play on your PC are available as free trial versions.
