FSlint is a utility to find and clean various forms of "lint" on a filesystem. You can find Unwanted or Duplicate files. Scans Large Drives like my 824GB Backup Drive can take a long time to finish. I had to leave mine running over night, after it had run for over 8 hours. But it did finish. Now, with that much data in the results, FSlint seemed to lock up, when I tried to delete some files by a pre-set, like keep 1 newest. But I tried it again with just a few files and it did work. I think it would work just fine if you choose Certain Folders, instead of a whole Hard Drive and a Large one at that. Like I did. I will try again later with less Data to Scan. You can fix problematic file names in masses. It has both GUI and command line modes. You can make a list of all installed Applications on your Linux System. For more info please see the FAQ on the Site.
