Watch the video.   Philip Simmons - Celebrated Iron Worker and Craftsman Charleston, South Carolina is one of my favorite cities.  I enjoy the narrow streets and the decorative wrought iron gates.  I'd like to introduce you to Philip Simmons, a blacksmith by trade for over 80 years.  Now 96, his iron works are displayed in the National Museum of American History and Smithsonian Institution.
